Why Donations?

We create our work and research free of financial commitments to other companies, organizations, or interest groups. This allows us to prioritize our work and focus on areas we believe to be valuable without being steered or manipulated by external third-party interests. All of the proceeds of donations are invested directly into our work which includes the following:

• Developing code bases and tools that allow individuals and communities to create, organize, and mobilize themselves in safely and securely
• Providing free vulnerability assessments and security consultations to non-profit organizations working in disaster zones, crisis regions, and at-risk environments
• Creating free resources and training materials that are publicly accessible to all
• Hosting Tor infrastructure nodes
• Hosting publicly-accessible infrastructures for private and secure technologies
• Workshops and training for individuals and teams operating in dangerous environments
